It will be an opportunity to see some of the projects Rotary either runs or supports and the difference we all make in communities locally and around the world. Purple Community Fund ( PCF)
The Purple Community is a UK and Philippine registered charity. PCF is exhibiting in the Rotary Showcase, sharing their innovative handmade products and available to discuss future partnerships with Rotary Clubs.
Jane Walker the founder and CEO of PCF is a Paul Harris Fellow and member of Hedge End Rotary in D1110. Jane has been recognized with numerous awards, including an MBE and Woman of Year award from the Woman of the Year Foundation.
PCF built the world’s first school made from shipping containers ending child labour on two dump sites in the Philippines. PCF runs poverty reduction programmes in Education, Livelihood, Health, Nutrition, Social Welfare and Disaster Relief which has directly helped over 2 million individuals and has developed a brand of eco-friendly handbags made from the upcycled ring pulls from canned drinks.
Jane is a frequent speaker on topics about the Purple Community Fund and other topics such as Fundraising, Entrepreneurship, Environment, and Sustainability and is available to give talks either in person or by zoom.
